All pre-fabricated panels are manufactured in a factory-controlled environment to ensure accurate construction. All timbers used are structural grade C16/C24 sourced from PEFC certified suppliers. Frame Studs are generally at 600 centres with an external layer of sheathing and breather paper fitted.
Timber frame buildings are thermally efficient which can help to reduce heating costs by an average 40% which, in turn, helps to achieve lower carbon emissions.
Using timber frame means a speedy construction of your build with an average time saving of 30% as opposed to traditional methods of construction. As timber frame is essentially a ‘dry’ form of construction the long drying out period associated with ‘wet’ construction is avoided. For example a typical 4-bedroomed house can be erected and made watertight within approximately 6 days.
Electrical wires and pipe work are easily concealed when our posi-joist beams are utilised. We are also able to offer insulation and pre-insulated panels upon request.
